Baked Spaghetti
Preheat oven to 350
1/2 lb. Spaghetti Noodles
1 Egg
1/2 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Grated Parmesan (the green can)
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 Jar Spaghetti Sauce
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 Small Onion, chopped fine
2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Cook spaghetti noodles. While those are cooking, brown hamburger and onion in a small amount of olive oil. Drain. In a bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Grease 9x13 pan with butter and layer in the following order:
Cooked noodles
Milk Mixture
Hambuger
Spaghetti Sauce
Mozzarella Cheese
Bake for 35 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve. I always serve it with a side salad and garlic bread. Green beans also go well with it too if you want to add in another veggie for the kiddos!

I made a baked spaghetti earlier this week. This sounds very similar to the one I made only I added a layer of pepperonis just before the mozzarella and sprinkled it with oregano. It was so good!
ReplyDeleteYes, actually the original recipe that my mom had calls for pepperoni, too. We just don't care for it, so she always left those off for us. I forgot to put that on here, so thank you for reminding me and letting people know how to adjust the recipe. I know there are LOTS of people and kids that love pepperoni, so that might be something that their family would like better!
